Together with Boskalis and film specialist Genap, we are working on a major project on the Maasvlakte - at the coast from Rotterdam - for the client Mineralz. We are preparing an existing landfill for a 'class 1' extension. It is the only location in the Netherlands where these hazardous substances can be deposited. The 4.2 hectare site will be fitted with a safe under-seal of foil and Trisoplast. Soon a large waste mountain of 40 meters high will form, making a seamless connection with the hill next to it. We expect to be ready at the end of February. If the weather gods cooperate.
