Trisoplast mineral liner is often used in water ponds and retention basins in France. Another example has recently been finalized in the eco-park L’Ange Gardien in Quesnoy-sur-Deûle, west of the city of Lille. In this 11 ha park, A.E.I. Lamblin S.A.S. installed Trisoplast as part of the bottom sealing constructions in the ponds and basins. Surplus rainwater is buffered in these water bodies in order to improve the water balance as a whole and prevent for drought and floodings.
